In 1964, a bright red Mini driven by Paddy Hopkirk and Henry Liddon crossed the finish line at the Rallye Monte Carlo and shocked the motorsport world. The win became one of the most celebrated moments in rally history — a small car defeating everything the European giants could throw at it.

Forty years later, Mini marked the anniversary with the MC40 Commemorative Edition — just 1,000 units produced worldwide. Each one was built to a precise, distinctive specification: Chili Red bodywork, White roof, chrome detailing, and a bespoke interior unlike any standard Cooper S. The bold Red and Black leather sport seats, the carbon fibre John Cooper Works dash, and the matte chrome MC40 shift knob give the cabin a purposeful, race-bred character that no other Mini of this era can match. Every car left the factory with a numbered commemorative plaque bearing Paddy Hopkirk's own signature.
