1987 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe G50 Jubilee
$129,995 CAD
We are pleased to present this 1987 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe G50 Jubilee Commemorative Edition. This Euro-spec example is finished in Diamond Blue Metallic over a Silver Blue leather interior, a combination unique to the limited-production Jubilee models. Showing just over 112,000 kilometers, or approximately 69,000 miles, this car offers a rare chance to acquire one of the most celebrated special edition 911s.
For the 1987 model year Porsche built only 875 Jubilee Editions worldwide, across coupe, targa, and cabriolet body styles. Of these, just about 500 were Rest of World models, benefitting from the higher compression Euro engine, slimmer bumpers, and other market-specific features. This particular car was first delivered in Japan, later purchased by a German collector in 2016 at around 106,000 kilometers, and most recently brought to Canada in 2024.
The Jubilee Edition carried distinctive factory details including Diamond Blue Metallic paintwork with colour-matched Fuchs wheels, a special Silver Blue interior, sport suspension, a short shifter, full powered seats, and even a factory sunroof, which is particularly rare on Euro-market examples.
Since its arrival in Canada the car has undergone a careful evaluation. Many years ago in Japan it received a full repaint, with the roof believed to retain its original finish. The overall quality is very good, showing only minor cosmetic imperfections consistent with age. Thicker paint readings on the passenger-side door and rear quarter suggest earlier cosmetic repairs, though there is no evidence of major accident damage. The body remains straight, panel gaps are proper, suspension components are original, and the car presents exceptionally well.
Recent service work within the last 5,000 kilometers in Germany included a new clutch, replacement of several engine seals, new tires, refreshed suspension components, fresh brake and transmission fluids, and an A/C conversion to R134. Since arriving in Canada we have carried out a fresh oil service, air conditioning service, and a compression test with new spark plugs. The engine is running smoothly, free of significant oil leaks, and the car drives exactly as a well-sorted Carrera should.
This is a rare opportunity to acquire one of Porsches most desirable special editions. The combination of Euro-spec performance, Jubilee-exclusive finishes, the robust G50 gearbox, and a documented history make this a standout example. It is both a highly collectible investment and a 911 that can be driven and enjoyed.
